In this life we are all just walking up the mountain and we can sing as we climb or we can complain about our sore feet. Whichever we choose, we still gotta do the hike. I decided a long time ago singing made a lot more sense.

NEVER trust an adult who won’t apologize to a child

Wow. I’d never seen it put that way, but. Wow. That is a really good piece of advice.

Last weekend I went to my first legitimate college party and got really, really drunk. I met this cute guy there and found out that we have the same major. I was a belligerent drunken idiot and he was sober and I probably acted like an idiot, but now I pretty much adore him.

But I can’t figure out how to converse with him at a level of sobriety so he doesn’t just see me the way I was that night. And it kind of sucks.
